    Titanium Alloy CNC Machining

    Titanium is a high-performance metal with strength comparable to many steels but a density only about 60% that of steel. This unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio, combined with its outstanding corrosion resistance in harsh environments (such as seawater and bodily fluids), makes it the ideal choice for demanding applications.     Titanium Grade 2 (CP Ti, Gr.2)

    Titanium Grade 2 is commercially pure titanium, offering the best formability, weldability, and excellent corrosion resistance among titanium alloys. While its strength is lower than Grade 5, its superb biocompatibility and corrosion resistance make it widely popular in chemical processing, marine, and medical (non-implant) fields.

    Typical Applications: Chemical processing equipment components, piping for desalination systems, medical device housings, non-load-bearing aerospace structures.

    Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V) is the most commonly used and representative alpha-beta titanium alloy, often called the "workhorse alloy." It provides an extremely high strength-to-weight ratio and excellent fatigue strength while maintaining good corrosion resistance, making it the primary choice for critical applications requiring both lightweight and high strength.
    Typical Applications: Aerospace structural components (airframe, landing gear), aircraft engine parts, high-performance automotive racing components, surgical implants (joints, bone plates), high-end sporting equipment.
