Frequently Asked Questions
Through years of experience, we have collected some information that customers frequently ask about when inquiring about CNC milling. We have organized it as follows, hoping it will be helpful to you.
What file formats do you support?
We recommend 3D formats like STEP, IGES, X_T, and 2D drawings in PDF/DWG/DXF formats..
What machining tolerances can you achieve?
Standard tolerance ±0.05mm; precision tolerance ±0.005mm (±0.0002"). See our Capabilities table for full specifications.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
We support orders starting from a single prototype part, with no MOQ restrictions.
How long does it take from order to delivery?
Prototyping: 1-5 business days. Production runs: 7-15 business days. Expedited 1-day turnaround available for urgent orders.
What is the difference between 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC milling?
3-axis is cost-effective for flat parts; 4-axis adds rotational machining for features on multiple sides; 5-axis enables complex geometries in a single setup, reducing cost and improving accuracy.
Can you mill both metals and plastics?
Yes. We machine 50+ materials including aluminum, steel, titanium, PEEK, nylon, and more. See our Materials section for full specifications.
Do you provide surface finishing after milling?
Yes, we offer 30+ finishing options including anodizing (Type II & III), powder coating, passivation, plating, and polishing. See Surface Finish Options above.
How do you ensure quality on international orders?
Every order includes FAI reports and material certificates. Our facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified, with ISO 13485 for medical and AS9100 for aerospace.
